1967 Riva Junior Hull No. 186, was built by Cantieri RIVA, Sarnico, Italy in 1967 and fitted from new with the 180hp Riva Crusader engine.
The new boat is a Riva Junior named Tizi she is just incredibly beautiful and is for hire with a skipper to whisk you to places like Cannes, Cap Antibes or across to Monaco.
It has now been comprehensively restored. 1966 saw the new Riva Junior launched at the important Genova Show, where it was intended as a replacement for the earlier Florida model.
Destined for a younger clientele and ideal for water skiing it was described as ‘the first step on the ladder of Riva ownership’, the entry-level Junior was an immediate success and soon conquered the all-important American market. Launched at a price of Lira 2.9 million, the Junior remained in production until 1972, with 626 hulls completed.
